Sample Press Release
A new product introduction, a new distribution deal, A special offer, a major management change, a change of name, or affiliation or a new major customer/client – all are fair fodder for a press release, online to your press list (you do have one, don’t you?) and to you customer/partner list as well.
Press releases today are really thinly disguised ads in press release format, since they go out on the Web in any case where customers, prospects – and yes, competitors – an see them.
Investor relations news and regulatory flings are different, and need to be distributed carefully. Best to use a recognized distribution service.
A good place to find a distributor is www.starrreviews.com. As the name indicates, this is a site that reviews all sorts of things. When the list comes up, click on "Press Release Distribution Services." The list of reviewed sources includes PR Newswire, PR.com, Free Press Release, PRWeb Direct, Marketwire, Business Wire and 1888PressRelease.
